Bottle at home in NH. Pours well hazed with a frothy, white head. Lightly sweet, Some faded pine, pale crackers, light rindy bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. OK balance to finish.

Lots of barrel, some rye. A little grapefruit. Golden pour with ok head. Bitter finish. Hops don't shine, but it's a barrel aged IPA so go figure. Can.

Harpoon Summer Style NE blonde ale 5% No idea what a hazy blonde ale is. On cracking open it had big bubbles of off-white foam that were gone in a blink. The aroma gave me a fruity banana smell. Medium to full bodied with a raspy carbonation. The taste is rough earthy fruitiness. Pretty average and doesn’t scream Summer to me. 500¥ or so from Nagano Trading.

A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has pine, wood, some caramel and fruitness. Taste has pine, wood, light fruitness. Medium bodied. Too old. Pretty nice.

Apparently also being sold to 99 restaurants as I’m drinking it there. Dirty gold and finger of head. Nose is pale malt and some citrus. Tastes of grapefruit, basement carpet,some herbal and floral tones. Thin bodied. Slick palate.
