355ml bottle. Clear amber colour with a dense long lasting off-white head. Aroma: citrus, tropical fruit, caramel, pine, malty. Taste: citrus, malty, caramel, resin, fairly sweet but finishes with a slight bitterness. Oily texture, medium body, better than I expected actually though it’s a little different.

Big offwhite head. Brown body with floaties. Fruity earthy caramelly aroma with a musty cellar backdrop. Dryish earthy caramelly taste with resiny spicy wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, grainy mouthfeel. Dryish caramelly earthy linoleum aftertaste with wooden notes. It’s not bad, but clearly far too old. No BBD, though. (0.355l bottle, from somewhere in Denmark.)

Non Beer Trip Beer Trip Beer #53. Keg in the hotel bar, 3/10/16. Slightly hazy golden, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of sweet apples, apple juice. The taste is sweet apple juice. Thin bodied, overly sweet.

Can. A- Candy, white chocolate. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Sweet, white chocolate, subtle bubblegum. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- All my intuition told me this was gonna be bad. But I still had to have it. Why? Because it was a white stout and the only way to find out what the hell a white stout is would be to buy and drink it. This is certainly no stout in my book, and I agree with the style category now. I expected a white or even brown color. Nope, golden orange. Smell was that of sugary candy and palate was not that roasty chocolate goodness I know in a stout. It wasn’t repulsive but it was weird. Smelled and tasted like white chocolate but at the same time I’m not sure it actually does taste or smell like white choclate. Hell if I know.

Can. A- Overripe pineapple, apricot, mango. A- Golden color, clear liquid, white head. T- Overripe pineapple, apricot, stone fruits, juicy. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, refreshing finish. O- Didn’t plan on liking this but ended up being much better than expected. Lots of overripe pineapple throughout along with a strong apricot note. It wasn’t spectacular but it wasn’t a nasty artificial flavor either. The finish was quite tasty. Much better than expected.

Fast klare hell goldgelbe Farbe, geringe weiße schaumkrone. Geruch nach kokos, leicht hefig, süß. Geschmack süß malzig, Kokosnüsse, mild hopfig bitter.

Leicht trübes orange goldenes Bier mit mittelgroßen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig hopfig, sehr bitter, Aprikosen. Geschmack mild hopfig bitter, fruchtig, Aprikosen, leicht harzig.

Fleeting roasty, malty, cocoa aroma with a hint of molasses. Short lived brown head. Flavor’s mainly sweet with just enough carbonation and bitterness to counter the sweet. A bit thin. Ok finish.

Appearance isn’t bad - quite clear yellow, white head fades after a bit. Aroma is dry grain, crackers, salt. Flavor’s clean, bittersweet, but a hint of butterscotch. Decent body. Not bad, but I’ve had a lot better. I really don’t like butterscotch/diacetyl.
