Pours brassy gold, with a small white head....bubbles coating the inside of the glass. Aroma is bread, malt. Taste is slightly fruited, bread, grass. Smooth, Crisp, clean and light. Very nice, one of the better Pale Lagers out there.

355ml bottle. Pours dark orange with a medium head. Aroma is bready malt and dark red fruits. Taste is sweet, some dark fruits. Touch of boiled sweets and yeast.

355ml bottle. Pours dark orange with a small, frothy head. Aroma is toffee and caramel with a little grapefruit. Taste is sweet with a little mango to start. Toffee and grapefruit bitter finish.

Bottle at the 23rd Battersea Beer Festival - 06/02/13, thanks to JF for the pour. Lightly hazed mid amber with a thin off white head that clears to the edge and forms a film. Nose is caramel malt, hops, grass, grpaefruit, orange pith, tropical fruit ntoes. Taste is caramel malt forward, light pine, hops, ripe oranges, bitter grapefruit. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, some hop bitterness in the finish. A solid if unspectacular IPA.

New Beer Distributors, NY 12oz ($2.50): Pours black with a quickly dissipating brown head. Aroma is plenty of chocolate and coffee. The taste is a bit of a let down. Alcohol is apparent, even on the first cold sips. There is not enough backbone in the malt department. If this was more like the aroma, it would be perfectly good, but this just falls flat. I am not gonna go into excruciating detail about the minimal flavors in this beer, because it just doesn’t matter.

12 oz bottle gifted to me as part of a World Market beers of the world 9 pack. The pour is a clear lighter golden with a one inch white that falls fast. The aroma is bright synthetic orange sweetness, grass, coriander, and a general Belgian yeastiness. The taste is the sweet orange, coriander, then a general spice muddled yeast taste. The palate is medium to light bodied, low carbonation level and the yeast flavors linger. Not a terribly good Wit.

The Bodega, Bushwick tap ($6): Pours a blackish color with a creamy head. Aroma is chocolate with roasted malts. Taste is chocolatey, a bit sour, and somewhat sweet. The slight sourness was kind of annoying. All in all, not terrible, but it ain’t the shit.
