Bottle. Pours with a hazy orange body with an off-white head. Aromas are nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins and graham cracker. Flavors are a bit bland and a bit nutty and malty. Graham cracker, nutmeg, cinnamon. Medium bodied, and dry. Probably better than I was expecting.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell, London during the Birthday Celebration of Jack & Leighton - big thanks to Colin. Pours clear brown with a light, creamy head. Toasted brown bread in the nose. Light sweet flavor with more simple brown bread, faint earth, toasty brown sugar. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Simple finish, faint chocolate. Impressively basic.

Bottle, acquired from BOE, split at Jack and Leightons birthday pleasantries, 13/04/13. Very dark mahogony brown with a thin light tan head that clear edgeward. Nose is toffee, brown sugar, dark fruit. Taste comprises light cardboard, toffee, dark fruit, dates, molasses, malt. Medium bodied, a little over carbed, dry in the finish. Drinkable but boring!

Fresh 12 oz. bottle thanks to queenholly. Well, I thought it was fresh until I tasted it. No bottle date so it’s hard to tell. Nose is sour lemons. Orange peel flavor upfront follow by a really odd sourness. The finish has a sharp tangy bite. Tart, sour citrus ( not good sour) Watery texture with a real light body. I have had homebrews that are much better than this.

Bottle at Jack & Leighton’s birthday celebration, thanks to Colin. It pours deep mahogany brown with a small beige head. The nose is earth, roasted malt, caramel, cola and light sulphur. The taste is light roast, cola, caramel, treacle, wood and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not much to it really. So-so.

Pours hazy lemonade, with a thin white head. Scent is lemon...yeast. Taste is sweet lemon, spice/pepper, orange. Tingly and crisp. Tasty.

12 oz bottle that was part of the Winter 2012 World Market 9 pack, courtesy of my in-laws. The pour is a clear black brown, with a fizzy 1/2 inch light tan head that falls quick with big bubbles. The aroma is light roast, cream, and a bit of a dirty grainy malt. The taste is the dirty malt up front, moving towards a roast and lastly the cream milkiness. The palate is light to medium bodied, dry finish turns to a not so pleasant char in the back. Just ok.

Pours clear amber with a quick, off-white head. Scent is caramel malt, herbal hops. Taste is lightly spiced, hop and malt....floral. A bit watery, but fairly nice tasting.
