Interesting wit aroma, but not strongly spicy. Hazy golden color with no significant head. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is light citrus, very mild yeast, and wheatishness. The finish is reasonably dry. It’s refreshing. It’s drinkable. It just doesn’t make a definite statement.

Bottle from Park Lane Liquor in Lancaster, CA, bottle states it is from Minneapolis, MN. The beer pours a glowing orange-amber color with a minimal off-white head that bubbles away to nothing immediately. Lacing is virtually non-existent. Tart fruit and light malt aroma. Medium-bodied with a tart fruit and pungent malt flavor that makes me wonder if this beer predates the Stevens Point ownership. Very little hops are present. The finish is fruity cough medicine. Pass.

Golden color; creamy head. The aroma is lightly hoppy and fruity. The mouthfeel is not strong, there is some malt sweetness, and some nice aromatic hopping. Pleasant, but simple.

I don’t understand how this is a dubbel. No noticeable Belgian yeast. Brown in color and light malt aroma. Flavor has malt and sugar. No fruit or other complexity, like is found in a dubbel.

12 oz. bottle. Nice cascade hop smell, pours a good coppery color with a decent, stiff head. Taste is of nice, toasty malt, a pleasing low level of PNW hop. Nothing huge like an SNPA, but pretty decent as a mass-produced pale ale goes. It’s worth picking up.

12 oz. bottle in tumbler. Gotta say, Point beers are more often surprisingly tasty than not (except for the Light, of course). This one opens with a strong smell of Vienna malt and "Irish Red" character. This loose bottle may be old and giving me a hint of phenol, but not unpleasant. Much more brownness than a similar Brooklyn Lager, but a thin bottled-macro head. Taste is not quite as rich as its lovely nose, though. Malts a little subdued, bitterness is standard German hop-based, with the usual lack of expressive hop character. And ultimately, the feel is a little watery, especially since it seems over carbonated. But it has some good things going for it, and I’ll gladly accept another bottle in a chance to revise my opinion.

"Brown bottle with a twist off cap. Some rotten hop aroma on the twist, in a good way. Almost a ubiquitous pale yellow american lager appearance with a little more orange added. Taste is quite hoppy, wants to be a baby IPA. Some creamy carbonation in the below average fizz. More hops than I expected for this brand. Yes, almost annoying at times. Mild medicinal bitter finish that hangs for a while. "

Not so good unfortunatly, but not offensive. It merely lacks qualities to enjoy. Orange color. Light malt aroma and more malt in the flavor with just a hint of caramel. It is like they didn’t try.

The aroma starts with promising hops but there isn’t enough there. Flavor is similiar. The hops taste good but the flavor is far too light. Best described as a light pale ale.

Bottle. Clear amber body with little head. This is definitely a malty beer, as the Vienna style was meant to be. The aroma is sweet with caramel, but there are significant notes of grain — and as it warmed, some hints of canned corn. The flavor is just as malty sweet as the aroma. The finish did present a very slight bitterness. Medium body and syrupy texture. This was more enjoyable colder than warmer, which tells me something.
