Description
Founded by Liam Tutty. We set up as a contract brand, brewing out of the St Mel’s brewery in Longford in summer 2017. In February 2019 the brewpub opened in Athlone, Co Westmeah, Small batch beers are brewed in the taproom.. Larger batches at still brewed at St. Mel's and 12 Acres.

13/12/2002. Can shared by Colin, cheers. Pours clear very dark brown with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is milk chocolate, malt, warming winter spices, biscuit, toffee, nut, bread. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice sweet toasted finish. Enjoyable.

Can sourced from Craft Beers Delivered and drunk at home (23/11/2022) - New🇮🇪 brewery and region ✅ (County Westmeath) clear to light hazed yellow with a white head. light fruity notes of cantaloupe and red grapefruit, lemon, light malty backing, piney bitter hoppy close. Not bad for the small abv.

Mahogany with a large head. Aroma of am malt. Flavour is sweet ginger cola, dry malt, powdered ginger chocolate finish

--Canned at The Brew Dock, Dublin (new county tick). -- Almost clear pale golden, mid sized head. Somewhat dank aroma of grapefruit and hay. Mid dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. Thin layers of grass, citrus and apricot over an anorectic body. Fairly low bitterness.

Can shared in CW - cheers to Cloin. Pours clear pale yellow with a small, creamy white topping. Lightly sweet with some pale biscuits, straw, grain. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean finish, simple, fine.

Can shared at the Columbus tasting 13/10/2022. Many thanks to Colin. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is green hop, aple, weed, bark, bready, grainy. Flavour is semi sweet, bready, grainy, grassy, stale bready, . grassy hop. Palate is flint, mineral, moderate carbonation.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. A hazed deep amber brown coloured pour with a small halo of beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, jammy berries, brown sugars, apricot, dried fruits, brandy snap sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, brown sugars, dried fruit, apple custard, rum and raisin, spicy finish, Palate is semi sweet, gooey, moderate fine carbonation. Xolid, good fun.

Can at home, from Yards & Crafts online, 24/09/22. Chestnut brown with a good sized beige head that veers to a swirl. Nose is muscovado sugars, lime zest, spruce, herb, caramel, fruit cake mix. Taste comprises mellow rum barrel, spice, herb, hedgerow, lime zest, toffee, raisins, root ginger. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kiss of alcohol. Interesting enough sipper.
