Bottle from goldtwins. Pours a dark brown with a big tan head. Aromas are heavy with coffee, roasted malt, a touch of smoke and a little cocoa. Flavor is interesting in that it is a little sweeter and creamier than I expected. The coffee is there, but it doesn’t come across as the strongest and boldest imperial stout. That said, it is darn fine. Alcohol is there, but doesn’t stick out or get in the way.

Pours deep bright amber into a snifter. Bright white head recedes leaving spider lacing. Grapefruit and resin aromas. Dark caramel and crisp sour resins upfront. Lasting, astringent orange peel and alcohol burn.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of Alraomon. Thanks! Pours a light golden color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Very floral hop aroma with some citrus notes as well as some sweet malts. Taste is citrus hops with a floral finish. Light toffeeish malts as well. Medium bodied.

Pours black into a snifter. Tan head recedes at a medium pace to hug rim. Chocolate and espresso aromas. Creamy with upfront chocolate syrup turning to a lasting espresso finish.

Bottle thanks to mar. Pous with a clear, yellow body and a small white head. Aroma of fake berry syrup, styrofoam and corn. Taste is fruity, with wheat and adjuncts. Watery and fizzy. Nothing even remotely "lambic" about this as the commercial description implies.

on tap @Philly BeerFest III–pours an off white head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-peat, copper. Taste is medium malt-peat, copper-hops bite, some raisin, alcohol.

Bottle thanks to mar. Pours with a hazy amber body and a small white head. Aroma of honey, and biscuity. Taste is husky with honey and a large CO2 presence. Watery and highly carbonated.

Bottle. This is one of those beers that pours an almost white yellow with a hissing fizz that leaves little head. Aromas are very weak... just a hint of fruit and old wheat. In the time that it took to type that the head has completely disappeared. Flavor is a watery blackberry and wheat combination that has been heavily filtered. Not very impressive, not very asserting and not very likely to try again.

Bottle for rating 1100. The quick reason for selecting this for a milemarker rating is the simple fact that the Abyss, Weasel, Dark Lord, etc. will be for the weekend... meaning I’m left clunking around with IPA’s that no one will get very excited if I drink early. This beer pours a hazy golden orange with little head and weak aromas of caramel and spicy hops... maybe a little bit of lemon and some pepper. Flavor is weak for an IPA... honey and caramel sweet malt flavors and a little bit of lemon and grass from the hops. If you blind tested this I have a feeling you might not guess it is an IPA on the label.

coffee for sure! A slight burnt feel to it but subdued. Leans more on the malty side, not quite imperial IMO
