12 oz bot....very pretty copper color..a thin tracing of foam...a pleasing aroma with nice fruit charasteristics and fruit to follow on the palate mixed with some clean malt flavor....such a crisp texture to the body..damn i love this beer...easy to drink but with taste....good out of the glass but best served straight out of the bottle and into a happy awaiting mouth...this could easily become my new "buy by the case beer"..whoo hoo made this beer go from 52 to a 53!!!

Second Long Trail beer that i tried. This one has a sweet aroma and then a nice thick taste accompanying it. Nice and smoth taste with a carmelly feel to it. No real bite to it as many ales have, but it is certainly not a bad beer never the less. I’ll drink it again.

This is a very standard ale that is also very, very drinkable. It isn’t a really special or interesting beer, but it is certainly well crafted. The hops flavour is not as strong as the hops flavour of most other American ales of this calibre, but that doesn’t go against this beer, as it still has a nice smooth taste. Would definately try this again.

Poured a brownish copper from the bottle with a medium sized white head. Smelled a little like banana when I opened the bottle, smells wheaty, malty and sweet. Initial flavor is malty, citrusy orange and a little grainy. Finish is metallic but nice. Not as spicy as other Altbiers.

Poured a copper orange from the bottle with very little white head. No distinct aroma, no hops and little malt smell. Sweet and smooth flavor, malty taste smooth, slightly watery finish. Not bad but not remarkable.

Bottle: Poured a dirty brown color ale with a rather large head with average retention. Aroma of caramel malt with some sweetness. Taste is also dominated by some roasted malt with a nice lingering caramel-like sweetness. Body is just above average with some good carbonation. Better then most standard brown ale out there but nothing to write home about.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a small thin white head with little retention. Aroma is sweet with blackcurrant being very hard to distinguish. Taste is also very sweet with some malt and some very subtle blackcurrant. Body is way too thin and this beer generally lacks character.

Bottle: Poured a golden color beer with a small head and very little retention. Aroma of sweet malt is quite overpowering with no hops discernable. Taste is very sweet with some light malt presence. Hops are very hard to discern. Overall, this is a refreshing but also quite boring beer.

12 oz bottle poured into a LaFin Du Monde tulip glass. Pours a very nice color actually pale with orange tints. A bit of lacing. Aroma is present and very unique, I wouldnt call it a Hefe. A good presence of citrus fruit (orange and lemon). A candy sweetness very present as well. Not so strong on the wheat aroma. The taste is a bit weak for me. Similar presence of fruit but just not strong enough. Finishes with no bitterness and a sweetness meone candy aftertaste.

My 57th style of beer! Bonus botle from a trade with Porterhouse. Nose of caramelly malts with some light fruit notes; Copper colored with a tiny off-white head; roasty caramel apple flavor with a little of the alcohol showing. A little hop bitterness for the finish.
