12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berry, grapefruit, lime, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berry, grapefruit, lime, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus rind, peppery, herbal, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berry, grapefruit, citrus rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an awesome IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink; even with the fairly aggressively bitter/drying finish. A big dank bomb of an IPA. Lots of pine and earthy spice, balanced with juicy tropical/stone fruit character; solid malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A really enjoyable offering. Love the hop profile: Columbus, Chinook, Mosaic, and Ekuanot.

From a Long Trail sampler pack: pours a sort of orange color with a white head. Aroma is some citrus, piny notes, and a bit of malts. Taste is like a standard IPA. Somewhat bitter. It is what it is.

On tap at Blend Bar & Bistro in Hamilton,NJ. Deep amber gold color. Frothy white head. Fragrant pine and citrus hop nose. Flavor follows nose with notes of peppery spice. Complex and bitter throughout with a solid toasted malt backbone. Dry, bitter finish. Quite good.

Enjoyed in Vermont on our 2017 Easter trip with friends. Poured a deep copper colour with amber highlights, a creamy-frothy beige cap, long lasting with creamy lace. Grassy leafs in the aromas, with roasted malts and hints of caramel and spices. Creamy-ish mouthfeel with a dry finish. Bitter tasting of hops which are grassy, lingering with the light caramel malts. A darker malt IPA with more of the darker grassy hops, less piney and citrusy. Nicely brewed.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from The City, Plaistow. Appearance is hazy (with a few dark particulates) dark orange with yellow/green tinge at the edges, tons of sparkle, 1.5-finger width foamy off-white head with excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, herbal. Taste is malt backbone, dank resin, citrus, grapefruit, herbs. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation with bitter, citrusy, malt finish. Overall, this is my favorite Blaze with a nicer appearance, and more complex, interesting and successful aroma and taste than the others.
