Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from The City, Plaistow. Appearance is hazy dark orange/light brown with dark particulates, tons of sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and mild sudsy lacing. Aroma is dank resin, citrus, over a malt backbone. Taste is as aroma with mild grapefruit as well. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and mostly bitter, dry finish. Overall, not getting huge grapefruit out of this, which really shouldn't be that hard. Kind of disappointing.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from The City, Plaistow. Appearance is hazy dark orange/light brown with visible, dark particulates, nice sparkle, 2-finger width white rocky foam head with decent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is spruce and citrus. Taste is strong, more-bitter-than-sweet spruce, dank resin, light citrus. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with slick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, the spruce might be a tad too strong and mildly overcarbonated, but still good.

12 ounce bottle. Slightly hazed amber orange color. Small pillowy beige head with nice lacing. Subtle toasted malt nose with hints on mint and spruce. Flavor has more toasted malt, caramel and a mix mash of hop flavors. Hints of pine, stale citrus fruit, vanilla and lemon peel. Sticky mouthfeel. Chewy sweet malt finish.

Poured from 12oz bottle a clear reddish-gold with a small head of foam that dissipated quickly leaving just a fine layer.
The smell is pretty fruity to me with some citrus and there's some malt sweetness there as well.
The taste is of biscuit malt up front, not sweet but certainly yummy , and as I enjoy *that*, it is quickly complimented by a nice hoppy bitterness...wow, and it finishes on the very dry side.
There be Big flavours to be found here yet they work so well together that my bottom line for this Alt is that it's a real smooth drinker and one that I'd recommend without reservations.

Amber, haze, thin head. On the palate it's got a fair bit of sweetness, but also that sort of old school piney C hop with a hit of brighter fruits towards the end. Well-made if unexciting.

Bottle, slight pinkish orange tinge on a clear yellow beer. Goodly amount of co2. Odd sugarless fruit aroma. Tart, but not like a wild beer. Not bad, even as this is near room temperature. Barely any bitterness in it. Finish with a touch fruit medicine in the background. Slight cranny bite throughout. Probably a little less than expected. Must try this really cold.

Pours a slightly hazy, golden-orange, with minimal head. Aroma is soapy and grassy, with some citrus and pine hoppiness. Flavor is full of hop bitterness, lots of pine/spruce, with some breadiness and a touch of sweetness. Bitter finish and aftertaste.
