[September 2023] Cloudy gold with a bubbly/frothy white head and fabulously fruity. Subtle fruit on the nose, but juicy fruit is unleashed in the flavour, with a little kick of bitterness and a dry, bittersweet finish

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a verydark reddish-brown with a small cream head and good lacing. There’s roast malts and oats in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy with nuts and chocolate as the main flavours plus hints of vanilla and cola. Finish is slightly fruity. This is a pretty decent stout.
