Description
Sinds 2000 heeft Huisbrouwerij Het Roze Varken op kleine schaal een aantal zeer bijzondere bieren gebrouwen, die door vele van onze vrienden en familieleden zeer gewaardeerd werden. Deze succesvolle bieren versterkten onze ambitie om iedereen van onze speciaalbieren te kunnen laten genieten.

In april 2013 was het moment daar: Brouwerij Het Roze Varken werd geboren.

Een machtige stap met een prachtig doel: Het brouwen van speciaalbier waarmee wij onze passie kunnen overdragen aan iedereen die zin heeft in en behoefte heeft aan ‘een bijzonder biermoment’.

In 2021 ging de brouwerij samenwerken met Kleine Beer, onder de naam Pigs & Bears Brewing Co. Per 1 januari 2022 gingen Het Roze Varken en Kleine Beer samen verder onder de naam Pigs & Bears Brewing Co.

Bottle from Mitra Druten, small sample. Slight hazy golden color, short frothy head. Aroma of some citrus, bit flowery, bit spicy yeast, slight dish water. Soft bitterness, bit citrussy. More of a Dutch IPA, not bad though.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Het Roze Varken Snuiter ].[ Trade by vipinvelp ]. Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, light nutty, moderate yeasty, dried fruit, spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, bread, spices, caramel, yeast, sweet malt - yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. On tap at Winterbierfestival Enschede 2016. Dark brown to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Faint, roasty-malty, slightly fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and raisins. Sweetish, roasty-malty, slightly fruity taste of dark chocolate, some coffee and raisins, followed by a short, roasty, slightly bitter finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, flat. Very nice!

Bottle, 7.6%. Slightly hazy amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, caramel and spices. Flavour is malt, caramel, yeast, spices, medium sweet, harsh, notes of alcohol and a little bitter.

Bottle @ my place. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, coriander, malt and hops. Sweet fruity finish with semi high carbonation.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, cookie, caramel, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast, fruity, old fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, cookie, sweet malt, pale malt, old fruit, cake, yeast - dough. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151121]

Draught (PINT Bokbier Festival 2015, Amsterdam) - Rich amber in colour. Caramel, grain, syrup and sultanas in the aroma. Malty, fruity and moderately sweet taste with caramel, sultanas, peach and dried apricot.

Bottle @ Home. Pours golden with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, bread, fruit. Flavor is sweet, malt, caramel, yeasty, fruit. Medium body, average carboantion, sweet finish. A little harsh. 221115
