Tap at NBPF. Hazy amber with beige head. Peat, caramel, toffee, some dried fruits, ash, vegetables, more smoke. Over medium sweet and under medium bitter. Over medium bodied. Not my thing at all.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized quite quickly diminishing white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, some hops, mainly bitter hops, very distant floral notes, bitter finish that lingers. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Bottle date June 2016 so way past its prime, although I doubt how much better it has actually been.

Bottle @ Niilstrong. Nice red-brown color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly a hint of wood somehow, a bit bitter more than sweet, slightly iron even. Weird quadrupel. Drinkable, but not very good imo.

Keg at Locus Publcus, Delft, Netherlands, Monday 3rd October 2016 Pours clear honey/amber with a filmy head, wonderful rash bitterness, really quite bold bitterness, orangey and fruity. Hides it’s strength really well. Lovely, lovely beer. A8 A5 T8 P5 Ov16 4.2
