Description

Bottle. Deel dark brown color. Peat dominating the aroma. Roast. Malty sweet, raisinny caramelly roasty flavor overshadowed by the peat the Laphroaigh is providing. Nice one, though not perfect.

Bottle. Color: Black, creamy light brown head, nice lacing. Aroma: Roasted malt, Bowmore Whiskey, peat notes. Taste: Bittery peat, iodine and smoke notes are overwhelming the RIS. Hard to taste anything of the RIS until the finish, but strange enough this beer only has a medium body and no strong flavours. Where is the RIS gone? At the finish finally some roasted malt notes. Bittery palate at finish. Aroma is better than taste. Lacking body and taste unfortunately. This is one of the cheapest BA beers I have ever bought, the BA seems ok but it looks like they barrel aged beer-flavoured water in stead of a RIS...
