(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 27 Feb 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with peaches, citrus and bready malt. Fruity, malty taste with notes of peaches, citrus, cereal and a gentle grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and highly drinkable. Quite nice.

Bottle bought at Volkshotel festival drank at Sjoerds. Clear amber with medium white head. Sweet malts, sugared peanuts, caramel, marmelade, light tropical fruits. Quite sweet with light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very malty and a bit lacking in aroma hops.

Bottle at train ride home tasting. Amber with big white head. Light roasted malts, hops with grapefruit and spruce, flowery. Light sweet with medium bitterness. Medium bodied.

Bottle at volkshotel festival. Light Amber with nice sized white head. Fruity, light malts and some herbal finish. The fruits are nice here, tropical but also some plums. Medium bodied, slight dry feel and lively carbonation. Nice!

Hazy amber colour, and despite resting in the fridge for a couple of weeks it is rather enthusiastic when opened, so quite a bit of sediment ends up in the glass as well. White dissipating head. Malty aroma, straw, light hops, yeast. Bitter hoppy flavour, straw, light caramel. Finish straw and malts.

Colour clear medium amber, small frothy off-white head, diminishes slowly, good lacing. Light aroma of lemon, orange peel, pine, floral notes. Flavour light sweet and light to medium bitter, citrusy. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste mild bittersweet, light fruity notes, overall a nicely balanced pale ale.

Bottle. Golden, small white head. Nice aroma of grapefruit and citrus, but a bit faint. Taste of amarillo hop and some pine. Bit watery. This beer needs more body and character.

tweede bier van deze brouwer, helder rood/koper met schuimige wit/kaki kraag. Aroma van caramel, zoet, den, hoppig, licht floraal en licht citrus, Smaken zijn matig zoet, zwak/matig bitter, zuurtje is zeker aanwezig, zwak fruitig, caramel, zacht en glad in de mond, de hoptonen komen later wat terug maar wat slap, ook iets van gras en citrus, zwakke body, niet slecht maar niet geheel mijn ding.

helder gouden/koperen met schuimige witte kraag, maar moet zeggen het ziet er erg uitnodigend uit. Aroma van mout, zoet, floraal, hoppig, den, lekker ! Smaken zijn matig zoet, matig bitter, caramel, citrus, fruitig, glad, niet al té bitter, lekker hoppig, niet té maar ook niet slap, medium body, glad met goede co2, afdronk wat bittertje, verdomd lekker biertje voor het eerste bier wat ik van deze brouwer(s) probeer .

33cl Bottle from Sterk Avondverkoop. Hazy amber/orange colour, off-white head. Aroma of sweet citrus, oranges, apricot, some caramel, yeast. Flavour is medium sweet, especially sweet at the onset, light sugary, oranges, citrus, some stone fruits, nice bitter finish. It’s a bit too yeasty, but nice otherwise., I’d happily drink this more often.The boys are improving.
