0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Clear golden, steady nearly two finger white foamy head. Looks really good. Grainy caramel with some sweetness on the nose. Taste has also caramel and grain, sweetness, getting a low but present bitterness in the middle part. Smooth grainy, some bisquit and light bread to the end. Low straw in the aftertaste. Not bad for a Helles.

Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours a clear golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of sweet grains, hay and doughy white bread. Taste has more sweet grains and bread with a little peppery spice and lemon with a very mild grassy hop on a sweet and slightly herbally finish. Medium body, average carbonation and oily mouthfeel. Nice refreshing easy to drink beer.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours crystal clear yellow with a small, creamy white head. Lightly sweet with simple pale biscuits, nips of cereal and straw, low bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Reasonably clean to finish, whispers of pale dough, more basic biscuits. Real easygoing stuff.
