Pours hazy gold into a weizen glass. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Banana aromas. Dry with sweet banana, hay and grass upfront turning to mild clove in the abrupt finish. Dry and refreshing, without the wheat viscosity of other hefes, and I sort of like it.

Bottle at home, always grab new German fest. Clear gold and soapy white head. Nose is floral and bready. Tatses floral, hay, bread, sweet malt. Ok texture.

Pours clear, bright yellow gold into a stein. Bright white soapy head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Honey, cracker and hay aromas. Sharp with sweet straw and sourdough upfront turning to bitter earth and citrus in the dry, medium length finish. Becomes a bit cloying as it warms.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, deep golden with a slightly off-white head. Yeast sediment can be seen in the bottle. Aroma of nothing much, perhaps somewhat yeasty. Light body, yeasty with little maltiness, but no wort notes either. Slightly perfumy hops and a surprisingly bitter finish. 130825
