Borefts XII Day 2. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and smooth and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Mild funk. A little tartness. Touch of ripe lemon. Mild tart winey vibe. Pretty dry finish. This style, Italian Grape Ale, is wide indeed and this is at the sour end.

Golden colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have some vinous and vanilla notes. Nice texture. Intense flavour. Applause to pack it all in with so little alcohol.

Pale blond colour with thin head. Aroma and taste have a citric, fruity sourness. Nicely sour. Flavour fades fast.

Black, oily and thick. Dark roasted malts. Lasting bitterness. Cognac sweetness. Flavoursome.

Clear blond colour with no head. Aroma is slightly vinous. Flavour has a citric, sherbety sourness.

Hazy pink colour with foamy head. Aroma and flavour have a generic fruity sourness. Not sure it's particularly plummy but is very nice.
