The last week, on the mountain, a perfect stop to make a break in family to have finally a decent weather, on the last friday. Not that bad this version of Erdinger free of alcool with note of wheat, smooth at the palate, a bit fruity, little note of hop, 10.08.22, Ballavaux, Haute-Nendaz.

50cl Blik van AH. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Licht moutig, vleugje citroenrasp, hint van honing, verder allemaal heel licht en vlak, saai. Lichte body.

Nothing crazy with this beer, it makes the job for an industrial product. Drinking it, peacefully at Epalinges, on monday, rather light body, smooth, malty, not so sweet, grapefruity, ordinary bitterness, 22.08.24

Bottle from Ondernulpuntvijf. Cereal malts aroma with grassy hop and a bit of straw. Light bittersweet flavour. Light to medium body. Not bad at all.

Draft at Here's How. Clear golden pour, thin, spotty head. Sweet, grainy aroma. Taste is malty, sweet, grainy, smooth, creamy. Almost chewy consistency.

Can from Albert Heijn. Clear golden with small white head. Crisp malts, dough, stale bread, light honey, dried peach, a touch of cardboard. Medium sweet, light bitter. Not especially great.

Helle, klare Farbe. Weißer, cremiger Schaum. Getreide und einen Hauch Honig in der Nase. Das bekommt man ähnlich auch beim Trinken. Besonders fällt aber eine leicht florale, hopfenbittere Note auf. Wenn ich raten müsste, würde ich sagen hier wurde Bitterhopfenextrakt und keine Aromahopfenpellets verwendet. Das Bier ist schön weich. In den letzten Jahren haben einige reine Weißbierbrauereien ein Helles herausgebracht. Dabei entstanden tatsächlich ein paar richtig gute Biere. Erdingers Beitrag bleibt da aber leider im Mittelmaß stecken.
