On keg at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden amber with a proportionate head. Nose - orange and mango hints. Perhaps some line. Faint biscuit. Taste - more orange and lime. Ripe melon. Dry lime at the back. Again a gentle biscuit thing. Palate - light bodied and creamy I texture. Dry and can finish. Overall - good.

Handpull cask at Broood at the Prince of Wales, Hinckley. Amber, slightly hazy with a big white head. Lovely if low aroma of tropical fruit, berry porridge, resin. Taste is a massive disappointment. Sour, almost vegetal. Spicy, yeasty notes accompany the unfortunate astringency in the finish. Not terribly cogent.

Cask at No. 1 The Grange. Clear golden body with a tight white head. Good lacing. Aroma of melon, corn flakes and straw. Flavour of apricot, grain and tangy melon rind on the finish. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Less fruity and more grainy than I was expecting.
