33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. No carbonation. Clear black pour. A decent enough stout just lacking carbonation.

Sampled from tap at NHB 2016. Minimally hazy, golden amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, fruity and slightly resiny aroma of mango, orange and pine. Sweetish-malty, fruity and slightly resiny taste of mango, orange, some honey and pine, followed by a short, slightly resiny-bitter finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

33 cl bottle @ home. Golden to orange color, hazy. Firm, uneven white head with good retention. Aroma’s: Sweet malts, fruits, not much barrel in the nose. Retronasal it’s less malty and sweet, there’s sour fruits, it’s vinous, light tannines. Then the flavor is quite vinous, light sourish, light sweet. High carbonation. Medium bodied. Finish is slightly dry, with fruit jam, light sourish and bitter. Quite complex and better than I expected.

33cl Bottle from Meijer. Hazy copper Amber colour, creamy white head. Aroma is sweet, light spicy, fruity, malty, typical Dutch maibock. Flavour is sweet, malty, fruity, light spicy, hoppy, bitter finish, yeast adds sludge and earth, so best to keep it out. Light bodied, smooth. Decent stuff.

On tap at NHBF’15. They call it a RIS, I think it’s too weak for that. Dark brown to black colour, beige head. Aroma is light metallic, sweet, liquorice, laurel, some roasted malts. Flavour is sweet, liquorice, laurel (erg droppig), salmiak, metal, caramel, sticky black liquorice bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. OK-ish, but needs work.

On tap at NHBF’15. Randalled through fresh Columbus hops and grapefruit parts. Hazy orange colour, dense and everlasting off-white head. Aroma of soft citrus, grapefruit, some toffee, medium sweet, fruity. Flavour is medium sweet, fruity, citrus, grapefruit, light leafy, grapefruit bitter finish. It’s just a nice soft sweet fruity IPA. Medium bodied at best.

Bottle @ PINT Winterbier 2015, small sample. Hazy golden to amber color, short frothy off-white head. Aroma is quite yeasty, spicy, bit green apple. Bit dry in taste, bit sweet. Too heavy on the yeast. Meh.
