750 ml corked & caged bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.4%. Pours sparkling, pink to peach colour, with a large but shortlived white head. Aroma of sweet apples. The flavour is sweet, with notes of sweet apples and red berries. Too sweet for me to buy again.

Bottle from local AH as Blind Pig Honey and Smoked spirit flavored cider, BB 31 08 17, 35 cl sample. Clear golden color, short rim of bubbly lacing. Aroma of slight honey sweetness, dry oak wood and bit bacony smoke. Bit sweetness in taste, bacon and ham. Typical macro stuff, but I quite like it actually, although it gets a bit tiring after half a glass.

Bottle @ home. Yellow colour. Smells pear, sweet, artificial. Tastes pear, sweet, candy. Reminds me of the town carnival. Not for me. Medium body, soft carbo.

26/VI/17 - 33cl bottle from Albert Heijn supermarket @ home - BB: 31/VIII/17 (2017-951) Thank to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Clear golden yellow cider, small irregular creamy head, falls down quickly. Aroma: lots and lots of boxes of sweet apple juice, apple flavoured candy, and hey, where's my smoke? Or my honey? MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very sweet, sugary, apple candy, alcohol, slightly sourish, maybe a hint of that promised smoke, but that might very well be the power of suggestion, all together. Aftertaste: more sugary, apple candy, sugared Turkish apple tea. What the hell is this stuff? Bah.

Champagne bottle. More than less a clear golden body with a decent white head that fades and champagne style carbonation. A bit weak aroma but delicate, pure apple, a tiny hint of yeast and not so much more. Flavor is pretty mild, clean and refreshing apple, medium sweet but ends rather tart with hint of tannins and slightly acidic apple. Fine balanced body and nice aftertaste. All in all not a big flavor cider this, but I really enjoyd the subtle and very delicate take on the style, it feels close to champagne, but still just enough apple to make it a bit more interesting. Highly enjoyable (and my first Belgian cider).

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie1986. Het is en erg zoete cider, met weinig koolzuur. De smaak is erg zacht door de combinatie met peer.
