Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. There’s corn and summer fruits in the aroma plus a little yeastiness. In the mouth it starts off slightly saweet before becoming a little bitter when continental hops kick in. Grains as well in the flavour plus hints of peanuts and gooseberries. Finish is bitter and slightly sticky. I would say this beer is interesting – different to your normal cask lager. More fruity.

Bradford Beer Festival 2023. Black with a head. Its black Pale Ale character is fairly dominant amongst a brew with a clear dark-malty base. Fruity hops are evident.
