Bottle. Bier Huis Ossett. Hazed deep reddish brown. Tipped in the substantial amount of sediment and unsurprisingly it went pretty murky. Slim dense head of beige stays the course. Nose has a whiff of green apple first off, but that goes away soon enough. There’s fig and date. Stewed fruit. Crusty brown bread. Hint of ripened banana. Maybe a hint of chocolate. Smells great. Taste is sweet with sticky vine fruit. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel with soft carbonation. No hint of the ABV. Fruity estery finish. Lovely gear.
