Clear golden with medium white head. Grassy hops hits the nose and toasted malt and pine follows up. Loads of hops in flavour with grapefruit and pine notes. Solid bitter finish.

Cask handpull at Baltic Fleet, Liverpool. Dark beer with smoky banana aroma. Some bubblegum. Good attempt at a dark wheat beer. Bit artificial. Bit muddy. Needs to be cleaner

Cask conditioned at the 32nd Cambridge Beer Festival, gravity dispense. Orange colour, hazy, low head. Lovely aroma of orange peel, coriander and witbier yeast (in other words: like it should be). Moderately sweet witbier flavour, orange peel and coriander dominates. Moderate dusty hops finish. Not a bad try on an un-English style!

(keg) Fully (overfully, rather) hazy peach-coloured; small yellowish head. Good - no, excellent spicey nose, lunaria, hops, orange zest, mouldy (in the best possible meaning). In the taste, however, the orange zeste becomes completely dominant, maybe resulting in a bit too much acidity in the finish. Very creamy mouthfeel, reasonably well-bodied. Better than 95% of Belgian witbieren. And the brewer tells me this version had more coriander in it, as usually! Thank God I didn’t detect that.

(cask) Orange, clear beer; orangey head. Typical best bitter nose, a little bit of noble hops, a little bit of Maris Otter or suchlike, and a little touch of the drains - yes. And it smells great. Very well-hopped, full hop punch. Restsugars on the tonguerear. Flowery character. Light to medium bodied, hops’ adstringency. A great real British IPA, in the best of styles’ requirements. And to find this beer in Belgium, cask at that!
