Bottle from Cobbett's, Dorking. Rich fruity aroma with a nutty marzipan core. Spice. Boozey streak. Bright gold. Opaque. Thick foamy white head. Initial sour citrus, quite tart. A bitter edge, which gains prominence. Sweetness and spice into the finish - these come to the fore as it warms up. Boozey warmth. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky mouthfeel. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent. Lovely warming stuff.

Bottled FEB 2019 Smell- medium strong, citrus, Belgian, malt, spice, bit herbal. Foam-thin. Belgia yeast, malt, citrus, faint hops and more citrus. Head is small, white, goes away fast. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, wrapped in paper. Bit cloudy yellow color, weak active carbonation. From- snifter Taste - malt, weak citrus, weak malt, weak Belgian notes, some faint sourness holding it together. Aftertaste is citrusy and Belgian-yeasty. Not bad, but nothing over the top. Refreshing and easy drinking.

2019 batch, o.75l bottle, not re-sealable. Smell-weak to medium, hops, malt, Belgian notes, maybe citrus. Foam- thin, weak bitter notes, weak Belgian notes, malt, citrus. Head is large, white color. Appearance- beer specific bottle cap, the bottle is label-less but wrapped in paper, I like the idea somehow. A bit cloudy, yellow color, no carbonation. From- snifter Taste - citrus, some hops, some more citrus, sweetness and malt. Feels very citrusy, aftertaste is also citrus, sweetness, and some hops. There is Belgian yeast in the mix. Interesting and easy drinking.
