473 ml can. Plus gold with full foamy head. Aromas of citrus, a little pine, wine gums and soft toasty malts. Flavors follow same with more pine; and malts are more bready. Also a bit of soap; otherwise quite nice. Also maybe old as there is some surprising sediment.

On tap at Whistle Buoy. Pours black with a beige head. Smells like artificial sweetnener and cheap instant coffee. Tastes like artificial coffee candies: light, chocolate-like coffee, sugars, and milk. I could eat a Coffee Crisp and get the same taste, fewer calories, and less disappointment.

On tap at Whistle Buoy. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Plenty of pine and dank notes on the nose. Flavour has a soft oaky pine character, some harsh dankness. Not bad, but the dank notes start to dominate in a bad way.

On tap at Whistle Buoy. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Saline and light citrus on the nose. Flavour does actually have a very oyster-like saline quality with some faint citrus notes. Wheaty malts are present, but very much in the background. Not bad, but misses the mark a bit.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma is full of big dank hops, plenty of grassiness, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is full of intense pine needles, big dankness, spruce tips, grass, and biscuity malt. Rather abrasive with that dank, spruce tip-like character. It’s alright, but far from an easy-drinking westie.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma smells pretty authentic, with tons of saline, citrus, and light lacto. Flavour is bright, with plenty of saline, an intrusive pickle briny character, with bright citrus, and a touch of lacto. The pickle brine character becomes a bit too intrusive. It’s okay.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full tan head that settles quickly. Aromas of cinnamon, plastic, and faint roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional flat cola. Thin and sweet with lots of cinnamon. Needs bigger bready malts to support the name.

Pale, hazy, has a clean kettle sour character, lots of peach. Does give off that fuzzy peach sour note. Decent for what it is.

12oz @ Ryan's shared with Phill.
Aroma: noticeable acidity and black currant.
Taste: harsh, abrasive, huge kick in the face.
Overall: not a nice thing 😬
