Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape and hint of yeast. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long dry, yeasty, pepper and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle sample @ ACBF’15 couresty of Martinus. Some home made bottling there, swing-top old school Grolsh bottle.

No head left to speak of; clear golden beer. Pure lemony lambic nose with farmyard, horseblanket, Brett. Sourish, faintly dry-bitterish, spicy lambic, to an excellent blended flavour. Light body, superattenuated, utterly refreshing. Presented blind, I would never have doubted a Pajottenland blend. From Rooie Dop, chapeau! Thanks to Martinus!

Thank you Martinus for this one! 500 ml. green homebrew style-swingtop. Almost clear golden, little head. Nose is iron, funky typical lambiek, touch more sweet & herbal lambiek. Taste is a bit sweeter than a geuze should be for me, still some malt, worth sweetness, iron, herbal, sugar with mellow lambiek funk in the end. Touch thick body for the style. Decent but nowhere near examplarly in the style. Happy to have actually tried this one!

500ML Swingtop bottle shared by Martinus at ACBF. I’m so thrilled to have tried this one! So little ratings and yet a Gueuze. YES!

A - pale yellow, 1 finger head some nice head but fades slowly. Looks more like unblended Lambiek than Gueuze.

S - aroma is great., lemon, lime, sourdough bread and some hard boiled eggs. Eggs being the only negative but it’s not a bad aroma.

T - Taste is nice. it is a little sweet, some sulfur. Very yeasty, has a lot of mineral water, lemon zest.

M - really great mouthfeel. has a nice citrus explosion. funk is toned down and acidity is also very low.

O - Well, this is a special beer. I’m happy to have had it. So good! Would love to have it again.

Clear pale orange beer, irregular off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of brett, funky, nice sourish, pretty darn good. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, bit metallic, little bitter, funky, watery touch. Aftertaste: funky, bit woody, dry, some tannins, bit peppery, very nice stuff.
