375mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is very malty, with burnt caramel and crusty bread. Flavour is rather tart, with bready malt, toasted caramel and not whiskey. There's some glue and nail polish that doesn't sit right. That tartness can't be intended, can it? It's alright, but clearly quite flawed.

Bright, dark amber. No head. A bit tart, some deep fruity. Whacky, a bit messy, sourish dark beer without a lot of character that I'm thinking about. I don't like it much.

Pours clear deep clear amber into an English pint. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet earthy caramel aromas. Soft with caramel and fig upfront turning to raisin and earthy brown bread in the dry finish.

Decent foamy head and darker copper body with heavy carbonation. Soft malt aroma with a bit of dish detergent thrown in. Flavour is soft murky caramel and a sugary mouthfeel. Cloying and sweet, they coulda done better than this.

Decent foamy head and clear gold body. Aroma of floral hops. Flavour is soft perfume and just a hint of malt. Could use a bit more strength on the mouth. Pretty much by the numbers here, though the 7% is very well hidden.

Modest beige head and foggy brown body, plenty of carbonation. Soft aroma of sugary malts. Flavour is hoppy graham cracker with a smooth finish. Good mouthfeel. Not bad, serviceable.

Decent head and yellow body, aroma of bad lager. Flavour is weak something or other; like, seriously? This thing is so watery and forgettable. Just blah. Blah, I say! Back to the grevious ongoing internal struggles of Oklahoma. God help us all.

2018 and the beer still looks the same. I was kinda hoping that at the turn of the year, all the beer would be different: styles, colour, smell, and so on. I guess life isn't so interesting: modest head and brown body, soft murky caramel aroma of no important repute. The flavour is totally not IPA but more like a soft english bitter, making this even more offensive than I expected. Chug it an move to the next one. Maybe time for a next one. Just bad, man. Just bad.
