(On tap) Black and opaque with a small, light brown head. The aroma is surprisingly neutral - perhaps a wee whiff of licorice. Very full-bodied, soft and smooth with a rather low carbonation. Lots of hard roasted malt in a nice balance with sweet licorice. Bitterness comes late but is quite distinct. 041006

Draugt at Sct. Clemens. Creamy white fair mostly deminishing head. Dark yellow cloudy colour. Moderate hoppy slightly acetic aroma. Week but delicate sweet/bitter flavor, Average finish. lively carbonated, ok palate. Refreshing mild taste, not as soapy as other Clemens.

A brown beer with a red shine under a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of licorice, malt, and caramel - nicely inviting. The flavor starts out sweet with strong notes of licorice and caramel, but with a note of butter lying in the back ground - brewing flaw? After detecting the butter in the flavor it is also evident in the aroma. The end is slightly roasted. The mouthfeel is too carbonated. Some good and some bad notes.

A pitch black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma is powerfully roasted combined with strong notes of chocolate, and a bit less oily coffee notes (like unground coffee beans), as well as hints of orange peel. The flavor is very sweet with also with a strong roasted, chocolate and coffee flavor, this time like freshly ground coffee beans, that perfectly balances the sweetness. Towards the end an acidity grows from all the roastiness and settles on the tongue. The final bitterness lasts for a long time. This is very close to the best beer from Apollo ever.

Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is dominated by grass with some malt and flowers (honey?). Cloying sweet flavour, candy and honey.

Draught @ the brewpub, Odense. Hazy golden color with a white head. Light aroma of fruits, honey and spices. Light flavour of fruits, spices and hops. Light hoppy finish.

(On tap) Completely black and opaque with a very handsome and retentive light brown head leaving a broad rim of lacework. Distinct roasted coffee aroma. Medium body with lots of roasted coffee notes and a distinct burned and ashy edge. A whiff of vanilla. Dry and bitter finish. Perhaps a bit too burned and bitter for my taste, but overal an extremely rich and flavourful Stout. And one of the best offerings from Apollo ever. 110906

(On tap) Slightly hazy pilsener golden with a neat, creamy head. Lightly tart fruity aroma. Fairly light body with light, fruity notes. The honey is hardly detectable. Decent balance between sweet and sour and manages to end rather dry. 110906

An unclear orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet and quite perfumated flowery, like a grass meadow in summer time, these notes are combined with some heavy somewhat cloying notes from the yeast. The flavor is very sweet, and the honey combined with the flowery and citrus notes leaves a layer on the tongue. But it also has a note of sour milk, is this a brewing flaw? the flavor really reminds me of youghurt naturel with eucalyptus honey, which I loved to eat when I was a child, but I’m not that fond of it as an adult and in my beer. I happy, that I only ordered 25 cl, since it get very cloying in the end.
