Draught at Apollo Bryggeri on July 30, 2006. Shady yellow color, rather small white head. Fresh mix of fruity and malty scent. Bitter taste with bitter and fruity, evolving to sweet, aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel.

A pitch black beer with a thick brown head. Both the aroma and the flavor are sweet with strong notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The end is nicely bitter as desert chocolate.

A hazy amber beer with a thin light brown head - a very fast dying head for an Apollo beer. The aroma is sweet and primarily with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet and starts out with notes of caramel, which in the middle resides a bit to give way for notes of alcohol, and straw from the hops, which again is acompaniet by notes of metal from the alcohol, which in turn gives it a dry end. A boring Doppelbock, and having this as a July special is definately the wrong season.

Tap at Apollo. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Dark yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Cheasy yeasty hints like most Apollo-beers. Short finish. Watery palate.

(On tap) Pours a clear, orangey brown with a tiny, off-white head. Aroma of yeast and malt. Rather full body with good, roasted malts and some surprising banana accents - gee, did they use a Hefe yeast here?? Some typical Bock characteristicics are present, but they’re almost completely overpowered by the banana esters. Is this rather a Weizenbock? Dry finish. 180706

On tap. As Apollo Thai Øl. Pours an almost clear golden with a dense head. Spicy, lightly sweet aroma. Medium body with sweet malts and again a light perfumy note which is surprisingly harmonious - kinda like Jasmine. No bitterness. 041108
(On tap) Clear, fully golden - close to amber - with a creamy and rather stable head. Spicy nose - without ginger in particular shining through. Medium body, sweetish malty while the ginger manifests itself more in the flavours. Usual Apollo bitterness in the finish. Not really that different from last months Dandelion beer. 5/3/5/2/10= 2.5 180706

Draught. Weak fruity aroma, also peppery. The flavour is fruity, but still quite clean. Spicy and peppery. Nice.

Draught. Almost clear golden colour. Apart from an OK bitterness, this seems to me just another pils, imperial pils perhaps, and not bad at that.

Draught at Sct. Clemens. Creamy white good fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate hoppy aroma. Ugly aroma of soap and bad cheese, probably (and typical at Sct Clemens) due too the yeast. Moderate bitter flavor, average finish. Creamy palate. I really dont like this type of yeast, sorry. Otherwise it is really good beer! I couldnt detect either Mælkebøtte or eucalyptus!
