(Bottle) Clear golden with short lived small loose white head. Odd aroma with mix of toffee, cardboard and hints of flowers and pepper. Light body, well carbonated. Taste is rather thin with some fruity sweetness at the start; at the finish there is some initially peppery bite that develops into a rather unpleasant harsh bitterness. Drinkable, but disappointing.

Bottle - amber pour with white head. Aroma and taste is sweet citrus fruity and malty, some mandarin, lemon, grapefruit, good bitter finish. Ok.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is pine and light grapefruity. Bitter, herbal and toasted malty. Fruity and dry herbal finish.

Bottle at the Jolly Botanist. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - not getting any zestiness. Sweet creamy malt really. Taste - more of the same. It’s a light beer but somehow not very refreshing. Palate - light bodied with a sweetish middle section which continues through to the finish. Overall - more malt than hops going on here. Inoffensive.

Fra flaske på RBHD-treff hos OG: klar gylden med fint hvitt skum. Humleufrisk aroma. Besk, og heldigvis kort avslutning. Tynn munnfølelse. Første gang jeg smaker et øl fra NZ jeg virkelig ikke liker.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Deep golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of dusty and stale malts, hints of unfermented wort and stale old hops. Dry and "dusty" flavour with moderate bittering hops, but not much hop flavour otherwise
