33cl bottle. Golden beer with gentle bubbles and some head, some of which hangs about. The nose has malt, honey and so much ginger! The taste is pretty much ginger beer with a ginger burn on the end. The palate has medium structurre and texture with a clean zingy finish. The overall impression is of enjoyment but it’s confusing. There is no mention of ginger on the bottle, but it so obviously is!

Golden (as it says) with gentle bubbles and a thin lacy head. The nose has beautiful rich mango aromas. The taste i of more mango and guadeloupe melon with a background maltiness. The palate has decent texture and structure with a clean finish. Overall, this is a lovely beer, though I’d say it was more of a pale ale than a lager.

Bottle. Pale gold with an inch of white head that sticks around. Very modest aroma of grain, lemon, a little earth and spice. Thin mouthfeel. Taste is rather empty - there’s some grain but not much sweetness or, well, anything - just no presence to the malt at all. Hop aromatics taste thin and weedy on that base. Slight soapy bitterness in a brief finish. Sheesh, they bang on about how they know all the names and addresses of the individual grains of barley and then serve up this? Insipid.

33cl bottle. Pours a golden/orange colour with some head, most of which disappears quite quickly. The nose has a citrus and pale malt aroma. The taste is more of the same and it finishes with a lemony zing. The palate is fairly substantial for this style of beer and there is also a little more texture than you would expect. It finishes very cleanly. Overall, a decent representation of the style.

33cl bottle. A beautiful opaque black colour with a generous head. There is a hint of a red hue if it is held against the light. The nose has a faint hint of chocolate but the creaminess is more forward. The taste has bitter black chocolate which is washed over by a creamy middle section and then the bitter chocolate comes through again on the finish. The palate has at least medium structure, a creamy texture and an elegant finish. For me, this is a lovely beer.

33cl bottle. The appearance is a golden/orange with a nice head which retains for quite some time. The nose is unsurprisingly of a kind of malty lemonade. The taste is sweet but refreshing and yes there is more of the malty lemonade. The palate is light and the texture is fairly thin, but the finish is fairly refreshing. Not unpleasant but it’s not a style I’ll be particularly seeking out.

Draft. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of grain and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey and grain as well as lighter notes of metal, leading to a bitter finish.
