Aroma has roasted malt and some coffee. Palate has just right amount of CO2. Taste contains roasted malt and coffee and has also a bit of sweetish chocolate. Good schwartz.

From a 330ml bottle on 26/6/2011. Pours a very dark amber with a good head. Has a moderate aroma of caramel and biscuity malt. Taste wise, it’s relatively sweet, with chocolate notes dominating, followed by a decent amount of roasty bitterness. This is a solid, well made dark beer.

Pours amber with a large, white head.Nose shows cardboard, cooked vegetables and sweet bready malt.Similar flavours but less vegetal character, with more sweet clean malt instead. Very easy-going bitterness, faint grassy hops.Too much carbonation.

At Papsoe’s pre CPH Beer Fest tasting, cheers Henrik! Clear brown beer, medium soft palate. Low carbonation. Mild malt, just a little fruity hop coming through at the end. Bland.

Bottle 330ml. @ chriso.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, cardboard, moderate soapy citrus - lime, citrus - lime. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, citrus, lemon, artificial citrus - lemon. bottle, trade with faroeviking clear brown/amber, smooth small offwhite head. malty and caramelly aroma. although not past its best before, the beer seems to be a little oxidized, esp. the hops taste a little old. flavor is malty, almost sweet malty, caramelly.
