Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130812]

Cask gravity at Kent BF 2013. Black beer thin tan head. Chocolate aroma not much condition. Bit of liquorice flavour. Slightly acrid on the finish. Ok.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 13/10/12. Clear golden with a thin bubbly off white head. Floral hoppy nose, fresh pastry, summer fruit. Tastes of light tropical fruits, touch of citrus, bread, sweet caramel. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish.
