Description
De initiatiefnemers achter deze brouwerij zijn Daniëlle Duits uit Tienhoven en Marco Lauret uit Vleuten. Brouwerij Duits & Lauret is opgericht in 2009 en sinds 2015 gevestigd in Fort Everdingen in de buurt van Utrecht. Fort Everdingen is de imposante, stoere thuishaven van brouwerij Duits & Lauret. De brouwers serveren hier hun bier aan bezoekers en bieden daarnaast een kleine menukaart aan. In hetzelfde jaar werd de naam van de brouwerij gewijzigd van Speciaalbierbrouwerij Duits & Lauret in Fortbrouwerij Duits & Lauret.

Corked bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast and pear drups in the aroma. Roasty ashy flavor with pear drups. Ash in the aftertaste. Medium bodied. Well made dry stout.

Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Soft lemon aroma. Grassy hops and citrus, oily notes and vanilla in the hopbitter flavor. Fairly long citrus hopbitter aftertaste. Good!

Bottle, as Houtgerijpte Rook Dubbelbock. Dark brown color. malt and smoked bacon in the aroma. Malty roasty smoky flavor with hints of oak and grapes. Very pleasant, well balanced bock, but I doubt if the wood aging was more than a few days..

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, roast, licorice and ash in the aroma. Thinnish. Malt roasty flavor with licorice and ash. Hint of alcohol. Fairly well balanced.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Firm roasty bittersweet flavor with licorice and plums. The aroma has licorice, but is still a bit in the bud. Medium to full bodied. Prickly mouthfeel. Satisfying beer.

Bottle. Golden color. Citrus, apricot and a hint of ginger in the aroma. Grassy hopbitter flavor with marmelade and ginger. Dryer as you might expect. Gingery aftertaste with a firm hop character. Well balanced, estery beer.
