Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours deep mahogany with a small beige head. The nose is earthy, spice, toasted brown bread, dirt and light liquorice. The taste is wood, earth, dirt, leather, toast, caramel and tarte tatin with a dry finish. Medium+ body and high carbonation. Decent enough.

Tap at De Paas, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy orange amber with a thin white head. The aroma is acidic citrus fruit leading to a medium sour flavour with some yeast acidity on the surprisingly smooth palate.
