Fonefan 110415. Black colour with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate. Flavour is sweet, roasted malt, sugar, chocolate, coffee, caramel, licorice, hop. Very nice beer

650ml bottle [2014 vintage, 7.0% abv]. Quasi black colour with small, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty dark malty aroma, notes of milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Taste is roasty dark malty, chocolately, notes of dark chocolate, a minimally smoky touch, some malt spiciness, a very cautious Marmite touch. Also OK at a Midsommar evening.

Fonefan 191214. Golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, apple, grass. Bitter finish. Medium body. OK beer.

Bottle 22fl.oz. [ As Island Starry Night Stout ].ABV: 7.0%. Clear dark brown black color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, dusty malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, malt bitter and sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20150411]

Clear warm golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, honey, something reminding of heather. Honey flavour, malts, light herbal, caramel. Finish caramel and malts.

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of roast, chocolate and malt, with touches of caramel and liquorice. Sweetish flavour of coffee and chcocolate and lactose, complemented by roasty notes and faint, hoppy touches. Bitter and roasty anftertaste. Low carbonation but the body is medium to rich. Okay.
