330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of apricot, mirabelle, yellow stone fruit in general, a slightly artificial touch of "Trolli Pfirsichringe". Taste is bitter hoppy with a mineral touch, nearly undetectable, diluted hints of apricot and mirabelle; almost watery as water.

Bottled. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is mild caramel, some fruity, floral and zesty notes. Flavour is sweet caramel, some floral and herbal notes.Quite tasty, but rather thin palate.

330ml bottle from Tebay Services M6. Pours black. Aroma is dark fruits, smoke. Taste brings smoky roast, dark fruits with a drying finish. A little thin perhaps, flavours fading a little towards the end.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Hardknott Granite 2013 Bourbon Cask ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, bourbon, laber larver, alcohol, light roasted - toasted. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, laber larver, alcohol, caramel, buzzy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20141204]

Cask at the Peterborough beer festival 27/08/2016. A mostly clear golden orange with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is sweet and tangy citrus, green apple, prickly pear, a bit autoylisis. Flavour is composed of tangy green apple, pear, lemon rind. Palate is tangy, semi sweet medium bodied, highish carbonation. Ok. But an ill conceived idea.

Cask at the Peterborough beer festival 27/08/2016. A clear yeloow straw golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is pale grains, lemon and pineapple, straw, rustic grains. Palate is medium light, light hop resin, good cask condition. Flavour is composed of light grains, sticky resinous hop, back of the throat bitterness, raw grains. Good Hop kick.
