330ml bottle, from Morrisons. Pale amber with a fairly tight head and an aroma of citrus fruits - bitter taste, not bursting with resinous hops, but a pretty solid IPA with a slightly sweet aftertaste.

Bottle. Rate 2,500. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grape, pine, melon and white wine. Flavour of mango, pineapple, honey and a boozy finish. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. Fruity and hoppy, without quite coming together.

Bottle. Murky ruby body with a thin off-white head. No lacing. Aroma of fig, roasted malt, blackcurrant and a hint of nail varnish. Flavour of caramel, spices and stewed apple. Thin to medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Smells and tastes like a Belgian beer. Lovely.

Bottle. Brown body with a thin beige head. Light lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, plum and dumpling. Flavour of peppercorns, chocolate limes, cherry, green pepper and Blackjacks. Thin body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. A cracking beer - complex beyond its ABV. Hardknott are an incredibly underrated brewery.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours hazy yellow, a few floaters, and a thin white head. Aromas of cheesy hops, citrus. Taste is woody, lime, touch of burnt rubber. Sweet finish. Not a fan of this one, from a brewery I normally rate quite highly.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours hazy golden with a thick white head. Strong pine and woody aromas. Taste has more pithy bitterness, but lots more wood and pine. Sticky texture, bitter finish. Not well rounded for me.
