Pours from the can a hazy straw color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of tart citrus, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tart lemon, wheat and biscuit malt. The finish is tart with a lemony aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent local release. Pours lightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, red/green apple, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, red/green apple, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and peppery Brett spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, red/green apple, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.4%. Overall this is an awesome Brett IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/spicy/drying finish, not aggressive. Great Mosaic hop profile. Awesome balance of juicy/dank/earthy hops and Brett complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

Can from Winetree East. Pours a clearish hay color with two fingers of white foam that lingers. Light clove and faint sulphur on the nose with some leafy hops. Palate is better with clove, wheat and light grapefruit notes. Mineral water, spritzy carbonation. Finish has some grapefruit pith and seed astringency with some leafy hops and a hint of sulphur. Not bad, but I enjoy the base beer for what it is. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pample Mousse on 25 Aug 2018 at 17:32 - Score: 7. On tap at Pour Taproom, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral notes, with a big herbal character and lacto. Flavour is pretty neutral, with lightly tart citrus, herbal notes and lacto. Not a top tier gose by any means. Meh.

From my wife who got this in Chicago: pours brownish amber with an off white head. Aroma is lightly spicy, malty, saison yeast. Taste is malty with some spice... I guess carraway seeds were involved. Reminded me of some amber saisons I had before. Very drinkable but hardly great. Cool can.

Pint can, Wine Warehouse. Hazy gold, small white head. Aroma is strawberry, mint, pot, lime. Flavor is odd: fresh mint leaves, barnyard funk, strawberry, citrus peel, lime, hay, grass, green leaf. It's definitely not something I've had before. Not sure I like it, but it sure is different.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours a very hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, red apple, white wine, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy/light funky yeast, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, red apple, white wine, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; peppery Brett spiciness; and light Brett tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, red apple, white wine, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, white bread dough, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy/light funky yeast, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance. Mild astringent hop flavors lingering after the finish, but not overwhelming. Moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy, sticky/resinous/rindy, and lightly acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an excellent Brett pale ale. All around complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy/light funky yeast, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink with the moderately bitter/spicy/resinous/drying finish, not too overly aggressive. Surprisingly light on body, given all the oats. Very vibrant/dank/earthy hops with balanced Brett complexity; solid oat/malt backbone, with a nearly bone dry finish from lingering bitterness. A very enjoyable offering, and great style example. Reminds me of a lot of Jolly Pumpkins hoppy stuff, pretty much identical on flavor profile.
