Can from Hogs Back brewery shop. Sweet oaty yeasty aroma. Pale urine gold. Thin patchy foamy white head. Medium bitter. Herby. Sour streak, a hint of citrus. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Interesting for a lager but ultimately just seems one dimensional.

Can from Cork & Cask. Clear golden body with a light haze and white head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange peel and pine. Flavour of peppermint and melon. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. It’s not a hop combination I would have thought complemented each other but it comes together nicely here.

Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, more bready biscuits, relaxed bitterness, nips of cereal, straw. Super drinkable.
