Can at home picked up from HOTM. A clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting fine magnolia head. Aroma is creamy nuts, hazzelnut, lactose, dried fruits, raisin, vanilla, brown sugars, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, burnt sugars, butterscotch, mayard sugars, bitter burnt sugars, bread and butter pudding. Palate is semi sweet, creamy rounded, moderate carbonation. Pretty tasty, but tastes like it has some adjunct.

440ml can. Pours a very dark brown almost black, with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, biscuit, and roast malts. Taste is quite rich for the strength, lots of chocolate, very biscuity, some roast too, a little caramel, somewhat sweet and creamy but with a mild coffee bitterness. Medium bodied. A wonderful Mild, easily among the best I've had of the style.

Sampled at Billies day 1. Opaque pitch black color, small brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, something weird, liquorice wood, distant laurel. Quite bitter in the finish. Malty bitter. Okay. 8-6-6-7-6
