500ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a medium head. Aroma is tea, caramel and boiled veg. Taste is mostly caramel. Vague boiled sweet bitterness in the finish.

50cl bottle from Tesco’s, Wokingham. It seems every brewer and his dog is producing a "Golden Ale" at the moment - even Shepherd Neame have brought out a Spitfire Golden Ale - this one was definitely brewed by the brewer’s dog, rather than the brewer.

Can from Seoul Plaza. Nice lava effect. Clear brown colour, stable smooth head. Aroma roasted, raw grainy, metallic. Taste is plain, malty, raw grain, light coffee, light metallic. Okay. No star though.

500ml clear bottle from my local Morrison’s Supermarket: BBD 31 May 16. Poured into an Old Speckled Hen badged pint vase at home on 18 Aug 2015. Clear, bright golden body with a full white crown on top. Butterscotch on the nose, with a bready maltiness and yeast like trace. Semi-sweet molasses in the taste with a mild hop bitterness. Served chilled as the bottle suggests I found this refreshing and thirst quenching, not a bad summer brew at all.
