Inspired the easiest beers I haven’t rated thread grabbed from market. Can’t recall having before but I’m sure I did at some point in drinking career. More clear amber than brown. Nose is sweet toffee touch of nuttiness. Tastes of caramel, fig, nuts, malt and rootbeer. Watery and flat palate. No bitterness. Probably be another decade or so before revisiting.

07-12-18 // tap at Yours sportbar Wiesbaden. Clear brown. English water with a malty sweetness. Caramel and toffee are mild. Solid.

Cask at the Fox & Hounds, West Burton. I've always detested this in keg and can so was interested to see what it was like in cask. Lookswise, it's much the same -amber-brown with a white head and a light sparkle (it was served in very good condition). The taste though is massively better - a decent malty flavour with sweet toffee, nuts and a dry woodiness, followed by a pleasant balancing bitterness. It is, admittedly, rather thin and watery, but that almost makes it more drinkable, and thus more suited to it's role as a session bitter. I was pleasantly surprised by this (especially the woodiness); it's such a shame that its reputation has been so badly tarnished by the godawful keg version.

0.3 bottle. Nagyon szép színe van, ezért érdemes megvenni... habja is szép és tartós. Illata nem különleges, malátás sörillat. Íze sima, kerek, karamelles, édeskés, aszaltszilvás, némi komlósság is vegyül bele. Nemzetközi nagyüzemi sör léttére egész jó. Több összetevő feleslegesnek tűnik...
***
It has a very nice color, so it's worth buying ... its head is also beautiful and durable. The aroma is not special, malty beer scent. The taste is smooth, round, caramelized, sweet, prunes, and some hops. The existence of macro- beer is quite good. More ingredients seem redundant ...
