Description
At Celestial Beerworks, we believe that beer should be consumed in its freshest state. We have a heavy focus on the hop-forward, approachable, complex styles.
While we enjoy brewing all styles of beer, we have to admit we have a borderline unhealthy obsession with hops. We love the dichotomy that hops present; from the intense aromatics of new age breeds to the nuances of noble hops. Celestial Beerworks vows to never serve a beer that does not adhere to the highest standards. You will never taste a beer that does not manifest the brewer’s exact intention. Essentially, we live by the mantra “haze for days”.
We think that visiting a taproom should be an experience. This experience combines our three favorite things: art, science, and delicious, fresh beer. We hope that each visit takes you to another planet… a very colorful, tasty one.
We love hops, we love design, we love space, and we would love for you to come by and have a beer with us.
Cheers and drink galactically.

Can at CBJ tasting, thanks to Danny, 27/11/24. Black with a moderately presented khaki head. Nose is chocolate, roast malts, spice, molasses, vanilla bean, mellow barrel. Taste comprises maple syrup, chocolate melt, toasted brown sugars, toffee fudge, vanilla. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Tidy BA sipper if falling a little short of top drawer.

Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers to Osprey. Pours black-brown with a thin, creamy tan head. Big sweet flavour with rich maple syrup, pancakes, toffee, butterscotch, mild booze, vanilla. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly sticky, more rich maple syrup character. Sweet and potent and impressively not too cloying.

Bottle thanks to Dan. Near opaque brown black beer, small and very short lived tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth soft rich luxuriant dark chocolate malts, some milk chocolate in there. Soft but rich bourbon, fruity, mild spice and a little coconut. Smooth and semi dry finish. Delicious.
