As it should be, malt forward, some light cinnamon and spruce. Smooth, easy, warming.

Can. Clear amber with a beige head that fads to a cm or so. 3+ Aroma of strong bread with some toasted, spices, caramel, grilled figs. Feels big but no overt alcohol. Malty but spicy bitterness hauls it in towards the end, tho' it's never that sweet. Ginger, mace, pepper. Dangerously drinkable.

Can. Faintly misted gold with a 2cm white head that laces & never quite disappears. 3+ Aroma of grainy bread and peppery spices. Malt is very briefly rich before being swept aside by spices and firm bitterness. Very good indeed. Yeah I really do think

Can. Amber with an off white head that never quite disappears. Aroma of nectarines, caramel, spices, bracken. Light bodied, perhaps lacks a little of the creaminess (dare I say, nitro) of the real thing. Fruity but already pretty dry with a properly bitter and only slightly bretty brackeny punch at the end. Not at all disappointed, just wanted to try one fresh.

Can. Reddish amber with a brief pale beige head. Aroma of caramel, plums, toast, spices. Moderate toffee and plum sweetness, fairly bitter at the end. OK.

(Can) Pours hazy mid brown with a huge, but quite loose, and audible, tan head. Nice aroma of banana and clove with notes of toffee and hints of toast. Smooth medium body with lively carbonation giving a good mouthfeel. Good complex taste. There’s an overall toffee backbone, plenty of banana and cloves, some hints of tart white grapes and even a little bitterness in the finish. Very enjoyable.

Can. Dark brown with a light tan head that's soon less than a coat (but persists in a nucleated goblet). Aroma of stewed fruit, some leather, earthy spices, grainy bread, oak. Then rather more than what that led me to expect - quite full bodied but with a vinous and acidic touch to balance. Prunes, grapes, some distant licorice & chocolate. Rich with spices, bitterness and oak lightening things at the end. Quite Pannepotish. Another very good one.
