Can. Yellow, no head. 3- Smokey aroma with boot polish, pineapple and honey. Less confronting taste - smoke, moderate sourness but crackery and lightly refreshing too with some lemon and pineapple. Pretty good.

Can. Unclear orange, a loose white head crackles away. Funky and spicy aroma with dough, old citrus, some shoe polish. Light bodied, fizzy. Dryish with earthy and spicy funk, moderate but decisive bitterness.

Can. Very cloudy yellowish orange with a loose white head that's soon gone. Aroma of tropical bubblegum, cloves, citrus, herbs, furniture polish. Lacks the softness of both a hefe and a NEIPA - the spices and the citrus both sharpen things too much for that. But it's wheaty with punchy citrus and moderate bitterness. Interesting, refreshing.

(Can) Pours dark brown with a tan head. Nice aroma, mainly toffee with fruit and bread notes. Nice mouthfeel - full bodied, smooth with good fine carbonation. Taste has plenty of toffee, with dried fruit, bread crust and a hint of booze. Very nice.

Can. Put in a La Guillotine glass as the best I could do. Deep red with a small beige head. Big malty aroma with bread, caramel, some roast, somewhat medicinal cherries, raisins. Only fullish bodied. Malty but not overwhelmingly sweet, although how much of that is due to bold herbal bitterness is hard to say. Singed dark sugars help too. No overt booze but you feel it its strength. Pretty good.

Can. Almost opaque yellowish orange with a fast-fading white head. Aroma of lime and crackers, some nectarines & herbs in bloom. Not really creamy and really quite clean. Quite a lot of grapefruit in the taste as well as lime, coconut and stone fruit. Finish is moderately bitter with some pine needles. The weirdness of Talus is slowly revealed. Good.

Can. Dark clear copper with a good 2cm of dense beige foam. Light citrus and a wide band of spicy aromas with bread underneath. Pretty light bodied, a bit creamy. Dryish with light bread and punchy milled spices, again with a citrus top note that keeps it refreshing. Quite like a punchier dunkelweizen. Engaging, well balanced.

Can. Cloudy orange with a cm or so white head that doesn't l;ast all that well. Aroma of peach, boot polish, pineapple, old grapefruit, twigs, crackers. Slightly - but insistently - tart and a little slippery with tropical sweetness underneath and a little bitterness and oak to balance. Less exciting but more agreeable than Rise Up. My 50th beer from what is probably Australia's best brewery.

Can. Almost clear yellow with a loose white head. Aroma of crackers, oranges, lime, minerals. Not much funk until a sip, then there's some pineapple, ointment and twigs. Fruity with some stone fruit as well as citrus. Quite a bit oak but enough bitterness to match at the end too. There's a bit of slippery body to it and that may be what really makes it: for a little beer it doesn't feel thin at all. Very refreshing. Another very clever and skillfully executed beer from Slow Lane.

Can. Cloudy pale yellow with a brief white head. Funky old lemon aroma with hints of boot polish and brine. So it tastes. Quite a bit of slippery body, really quite salty finish. Sour but drinkable and refreshing.
