Can. Clear amber, a beige head is soon less than a coat. Aroma is spiced and biscuity with some doughy yeasty notes. Barely medium bodied. Biscuity but only modestly sweet with caught caramel, light spices and bitterness. Local competition for Red Hill's Christmas Ale.

Can. Black, a 1/2cm tan head. Spirit heavy aroma with more whisky than rum, vanilla, oak, mocha, pralines. Just short of hot but with plenty of spirit influence upon a taste too. Smooth, lowish carbonation. The beer is not quite buried and there is a tiny bit of bitterness at the end. Good, a bit much wet barrel for me.

Can. Fairly dark brown with ~cm beige head. 6+ Aroma of stewed fruit, sticky spiced buns. A little doughy but neither that sweet nor that yeasty. Dried rather than stewed fruit, dark sugars, then quite punchily spicy towards the fairly bitter end. Good.

Quite black. Pours thick and inky. This has a rich molasses aroma, light rum. On the palate, it's really rich, some burnt accents, dates, and some good dark sugars. A bit of chocolate, a touch of alcohol, and the rum just lends a little accent. This is very good. Very rich, with lots of complexity.
