A very good wheat beer, but I have to fight my general dislike of weizens. Aromas of bananas and a little clove. Nice body with a velvety mouthfeel. It's got bananas, raisins, spices and a little citrus. Great balance. A very well-made beer.

New hop for me. Can. Almost opaque orange with a dense cm of white head. Shyish aroma of blood orange, berries, lime leaf, crackers. More vibrant taste with sweeter citrus - mandarin - and apricot as well before some slight herbal notes at the just bitter enough to tidy up end.

Can. Unclear amber with a fat coat of white head. Slightly grainy aroma with toasted sticky buns, apricot, boiled oranges, peppery oak. More biscuity upon a taste with far more obvious Bourbon, drying & slightly overbearing oak. Pretty good.

From a 375ml can on 22/1/2025. Pours a deep, deep brown with a medium head. Smells malty - lots of chocolate and caramel presenting. Taste follows suit - very malty, with sweet dark chocolate and caramel, and a touch of coffee and molasses. Finishes with a lovely balancing, lingering bitterness, finishing with a hint of smoke. The palate is slightly syrupy, the carbonation modest. Very true to style and really well done.

Can. Opaque brownish orange with a white head that's soon a fat coat. Aroma of very ripe yellow peaches, hints of lime, doughy bread. Smooth and nectar-like with heavy peach, not much citrus and an increasing muttering of herbal notes that pretty much are the finish.

Can. Clear darkish brown with a beige head that fades. 3+ I suppose the yeast means it's not a Scotch Ale. Indeed, smells very Dubbelish with dough, dried and stewed fruit, some spices. Taste is less sweet and more focused than that suggested, then there is quite firm spicy bitterness. Again struck by Slow Lane's ability to do as they say.

Can. Clear deep amber with a fluffy near white head. Smokey aroma with caramel, some medicinal notes, a floral touch. Sweet and a little heavy with lovely smoke and toffee but in need of a drier finish to make the (adequate) bitterness snap a bit more.Still, good stuff.

A complex aroma of orange, pineapple, peach, cream and lemon. It has a satisfying citrus bite, with the pineapple shining. Very enjoyable.

Dark reddish brown with a cm of off white head. Singed malty aroma with strong bread, light spices. Mouthfillingly rich but only a little sweet with breadcrust, caramel, roasty hints- then all tidied away by a balancing bitter finish. Satisfying for 5%.

(Can) Pours cloudy amber with big loose white head. Pleasant aroma with citrus, mango and pine. Medium body with bright carbonation. Taste is tart and fruity with very modest bitterness and the barest hint of malt. Pleasant and refreshing.
